CYME Copenhagen is a Danish, female-founded slow-fashion women’s clothing brand dedicated to quality and timeless design, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Rooted in Scandinavian minimalism, we create wardrobe essentials that feel refined, versatile, and enduring season after season.
We work with natural luxury materials - such as cashmere, merino wool, and long-staple cottons - to achieve a refined hand feel, enduring structure, and clean lines. Our focus is on pieces you reach for again and again: elevated staples that fit effortlessly into a modern wardrobe.
Our collections are sold exclusively through our website, removing traditional retail markups and offering considered design at a more accessible price. By embracing a direct-to-consumer model, we make luxury-level quality available without the usual luxury-level price tag.
We partner with specialist mills and makers who uphold good working conditions and support responsible sourcing across the supply chain. Together, we work toward a more mindful and responsible, slow-fashion way of dressing - built on fewer, better pieces that last.

The Beginning
Charlotte founded CYME in 2024 with a simple goal: to make luxury-level pieces without the luxury-level price tag. Equally important was traceability and understanding where the materials come from and how garments are made.
CYME is the brand she couldn’t find: fabric-first, quiet luxury, and crafted for long-term wear at an accessible price. She remains closely involved in development - from yarn and fabric selection to fit reviews - so each piece feels considered, consistent, and built to last.
From the first sketches to the final fit, our process is intentionally hands-on. Every style is tested, refined, and improved until it meets our standards for comfort, drape, and durability.
How We Design & Produce
At CYME Copenhagen, everything starts with the fabric. We choose materials for how they feel against the skin, how they move with the body, and how well they stand the test of time.
We collaborate with specialist mills and factories with deep expertise in premium textiles and fine-gauge knitwear.
- Our woven styles - such as shirts, denim, trousers and satin pieces - are crafted in Portugal by a skilled, family-run factory with years of experience.
- Our knitwear is produced in Shanghai by a dedicated partner specialising in merino and cashmere, located close to key yarn regions and focused on precise tension, clean linking and consistent finishing.
We prioritise natural materials whenever possible and only use synthetics, like elastane, in small amounts where they improve comfort, movement and fit.
We work with certified suppliers who share our commitment to responsible practices. This includes mulesing-free, certified wool and carefully sourced cashmere, as well as organic and recycled cotton. On selected pieces, you’ll find QR codes that allow you to trace the yarn back to its origin, adding transparency to your wardrobe.

Cyme (n.): a balanced botanical bloom
“CYME” is a botanical term for a flowering structure where blooms open in a balanced, orderly sequence.
Our name is intentional: CYME Copenhagen reflects a fabric-first approach - natural materials chosen for comfort and longevity, refined construction for clean lines and drape, and designs that sit quietly in harmony.
We draw inspiration from nature - and we care for it. We create clothing with respect for our surroundings and remain committed to continual improvement and more responsible choices, season by season. Every collection is a step toward a more thoughtful, balanced way of dressing.
